Joe began his career as a letter carrier in August of 1998 at the Somerset, N.J. Post Office and later transferred to the Mountain Lakes, N.J. post office in 2001.  Joe became involved in many NALC activities which resulted in his nomination as shop steward in 2007. In 2015 the Mountain Lakes carriers were merged into the Parsippany, N.J. post office where Joe remains a shop steward.

Throughout the years, Joe has held many positions with Branch 38.  They include: Route Examination Observer; OJT Instructor; local JARAP; CDRAAP contact; office Customer Connect and food drive coordinator.

On December 1, 2018, Joe was appointed by President Mike O’Neill to the position of Part-Time Area Representative.  Joe is proud and honored to serve and protect his fellow letter carriers, and grateful for the trust that Branch 38 leadership and membership have shown him. In October of 2024, Joe began his next journey of serving on the Step B DRT team for NJ and was elected by acclimation as Branch Trustee in January of 2025.

Joe currently lives in Sussex County N.J. with his wife and two daughters.
