John started his career in the Rutherford Postal District in 1980 and remained there until 1994.  He became an OJI and Facilitator while still in Rutherford.  John transferred to the Mahwah Post Office in the spring of 1994 and became a shop steward soon after.

During his career at Mahwah, John was appointed Safety Officer, senior member of the EAP Advisory Committee, and an alternate member of the Dispute Resolution Team.   He was selected to be the National Carrier Ambassador and was featured in two television commercials for the Postal Service.

John’s activities at the branch level began in 2002 when he was asked to serve as route inspection team member and Customer Connect Coordinator. John’s performance in these roles led to his appointment as a Part-Time Area Representative for Branch 38.  John looks forward to serving the members of Branch 38 for many years to come.
